The 2024 Nissan GT-R: Horsepower – The GT-R, Nissan's crown jewel of strong engineering, fuses a powerful horsepower engine with remarkable handling and valuable technology for daily driving. The GT-R is even more exciting for the 2024 Nissan GT-R. This 2024 Nissan GT-R horsepower is even more powerful with extensive aerodynamic improvements, the return of a special trim, and modified available packages.
Brand new levels
The 2024 Nissan GT-R horsepower is different in the available three levels, beginning with GT-R Premium and T-spec® with 565 horsepower, offering a thrilling option for those looking for a super sports car. The 2024 Nissan GT-R horsepower for GT-R NISMO delivers even more amazing performance, with engineering inspired by motorsports applications.
A revamped tail features character lines that eliminate some of the previous design's sheer cliff drop-off. The legendary quad taillights also get a new lens style. According to Nissan, the combined aerodynamic improvements provide more downforce while preserving the 2023 car's 0.26 Cd drag coefficient.
Designed for performance
The 3.8-liter V6, 24-valve, twin-turbocharged engine in the 2024 Nissan GT-R is hand-assembled by Takumi technicians. The engine, which was updated for the 2020 model year, 2024 Nissan GT-R horsepower is 565 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque and comes standard with a titanium exhaust system.
The GT-power R's is routed through a standard ATTESA ET-S all-wheel-drive system, which can adjust the front-to-rear torque split depending on the cruising scenario for maximum driving feel and performance. The standard 6-speed dual-clutch transaxle is rear-mounted to optimize vehicle weight distribution and features aggressive gear changes as well as paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel for manual control.
The expertly tweaked independent double-wishbone front and independent multi-link rear suspensions bring the GT-dynamic R's ride and handling to live. Standard Bilstein® DampTronic shock absorbers provide three driving suspension settings for the GT-R: Normal, Comfort and R. These three modes enable the driver to incorporate varying levels of driving comfort with the GT-sporty R's responsive handling. Big, tactile transitions on the center console control the machine, transmission, and suspension settings.
Braking is provided by a Nissan and Brembo® jointly developed braking system with six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers in the GT-R Premium. GT-R is connected to the road by ultra-light RAYS® 20-inch wheels shod with Dunlop strong performance summer tires.
NISMO: Performance derived from motorsports
The GT-R NISMO – obtained from Nissan MOtorsports International Co. – is a more extreme form of the GT-R for drivers seeking an even higher level of capability.
A front limited-slip differential is available for the first time on the 2024 GT-R NISMO, in addition to aerodynamic changes. The differential enhances the driving experience by ensuring that the GT-R faithfully follows the driver's inputs. It also exemplifies the NISMO team's approach to iterative enhancements that continuously expand the GT capabilities.
For the 2020 model year, the GT-R NISMO received extensive upgrades, including new turbochargers from the GT3 race car, improved transmission shift control, lighter parts, enhanced bond formation to increase torsional stiffness, lowered total mass, and upgrades to the brakes, wheels, and tires.
