2023 Nissan Z Interior Evaluation: The Past Meets The Future

2023 Nissan Z Interior

2023 Nissan Z interior – The interior has an essentially delightful cabin, though some design elements are underwhelming, and the outside noise is an issue. The seats are comfortable, and the audio system is effortless.

Interior Technology

There is an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touch-screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, satellite radio, voice recognition, and two USB ports. These are all standard features in the 2023 Nissan Z. A 9-inch touch screen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, an eight-speaker Bose stereo, and a universal garage door opener are available as options.

The 2023  has simple infotainment controls and modern touches, such as a fully digital instrument cluster. Nonetheless, the graphics on the main infotainment touchscreen are disappointing. Other physical controls are simple and easy to use.

Seating

hasn't changed the layout of the Z's cabin, although it's new for 2023. It is still a two-seat coupe with no resemblance to the Porsche 911. It has plenty of head and legroom, as well as comfortable and supportive seats. Everything else, however, has changed. The new Z's cabin has been modernized with updated materials, a welcome improvement over the current 370Z's dated interior.

The  has standard features including cloth upholstery, an eight-way manually adjustable driver's seat, a four-way manually adjustable passenger seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Leather upholstery, four-way power-adjustable and heated seats, a premium leather steering wheel, aluminum sport pedals, and upgraded seat side bolstering are available as options.

The steering wheel features leather upholstery and a design inspired by the GT-R, as well as rapid-fire paddle shifters equipped with an automatic transmission and simple controls on the spokes. The standard digital instrument panel combines with the air vents to form a fighter-jet cockpit-style wraparound, flanked by an eight-inch or optional nine-inch infotainment touch-screen display.

The 2023 Nissan Z is a two-door sports car with no LATCH car-seat connectors. We do not recommend installing a car seat in the vehicle's front row.

Cargo

The Nissan Z has a trunk space of 6.9 cubic feet, which is a little small for a sports car. The trunk lid, like previous models, is technically a liftback, but cargo must be lifted over a sill to be placed in the trunk.

The 2023 Nissan Z interior design has a fresh and sleek design that communicates respect for its lineage. Its long hood and short deck are fundamentally Z, but with a new fall-in-love-at-first-sight look. “Tradition with modern technology” was the design theme for the new Z's exterior and interior.
